It is called <strong>ambient acclusion<\/strong>\u00c2\u00a0<strong>(AO)<\/strong> and we&#8217;re creating a new &#8220;layer&#8221; just for this one.<\/p>\n<p>Watch the video:<\/p>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" src=\"http:\/\/player.vimeo.com\/video\/45020533?byline=0&amp;color=ff9933\" frameborder=\"0\" width=\"950\" height=\"534\"><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p><strong>CONCEPTS<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Just Add <strong>VRayDirt<\/strong> in <strong>ExtraTex channel<\/strong> to get Ambient occlusion pass<\/li>\n<li>Use &#8220;radius&#8221; to extract \u00c2\u00a0small or big details from the scene<\/li>\n<li>Use &#8220;noise threshold&#8221; as main control to get high or low quality renders<\/li>\n<li>Don&#8217;t use noise threshold lower than 0,003<\/li>\n<li>0,005 already produce an important increase of the render times<\/li>\n<li>Save all channels by clicking &#8220;save all image channels&#8221;<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<hr \/>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h2>Final Render settings<\/h2>\n<p>These are the parameters I modify for the final render:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Irradiance map = High<\/strong><br \/>\nBest \u00c2\u00a0distribution of global illumination<\/li>\n<li><strong>Light Cache = 2000 \/ enable &#8220;Raytrace&#8221;<\/strong><br \/>\nEnhance \u00c2\u00a0distribution of global illumination in the details<\/li>\n<li><strong>Noise Threshold = 0,005<\/strong><br \/>\nReduce grainess for all elements in the scene (vraylights, cameras, materials&#8230;)<br \/>\nPay attention with this parameter: too low values could produce terrific render time increase!<\/li>\n<li><strong>Antialiasing = Adaptive DMC (min-max \/ 1-30)<\/strong><br \/>\nProduce more details, especially in the textures<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Some parameter could be different from the FINAL-Present you studied at Lesson 2.<br \/>\nActually every scene is different, it&#8217;s up to you find the best combination to low the render time.<\/p>\n<blockquote><p><strong>HEY [wlm_firstname]!<\/strong><br \/>\nThese parameters won&#8217;t affect &#8220;aesthetic impact&#8221;. The scene must be &#8220;beautiful&#8221; also with low settings.<br \/>\nYour scene won&#8217;t be beutiful just incresing values for final render!
