Let&#8217;s see how it works :<\/p>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" src=\"http:\/\/player.vimeo.com\/video\/35097796?title=0&amp;byline=0&amp;portrait=0\" frameborder=\"0\" width=\"599\" height=\"337\"><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p><strong>CONCEPTS :<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Physical Camera: Set White Balace as &#8220;NEUTRAL&#8221; for non-exterior scenes<\/li>\n<li>Use Watts as units (1*)<\/li>\n<li>Flag &#8220;<strong>store with irradiance map<\/strong>&#8221; for fast tests:<br \/>\nshadows result really approximated, but the render is fast!<\/li>\n<li>Use &#8220;temperature&#8221; mode to get <span style=\"color: #ff6600;\"><strong>warm<\/strong><\/span>\u00c2\u00a05000&lt; |\u00c2\u00a0&gt;5000 <span style=\"color: #3366ff;\"><strong>cold\u00c2\u00a0<\/strong>\u00c2\u00a0<\/span> lighting with ease (2*)<\/li>\n<li>Change V-Ray Light sizes for strong\/diffuse shadows (never use Scale Tool!)<\/li>\n<li>You can quikly test your render with vray-TEST or with V-Ray RT: it&#8217;s the same. (3*)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>.<\/p>\n<p>(1*) Using unit &#8220;Default&#8221; if you change the size of the V-Ray Light you also change the emission.<br \/>\nInstead, using &#8220;watts&#8221;, if you change the size, emission doesn&#8217;t change: keep constant.<\/p>\n<p>(2*) You can use &#8220;color&#8221; or &#8220;temperature&#8221; mode, it&#8217;s the same. Temperature mode just helps you to easly pick the right color for warm and cold.<\/p>\n<p>(3*) V-Ray Real Time do not appromate anything! For this it does not support \u00c2\u00a0&#8220;Store with irradiance map&#8221; and many others. V-Ray Camera is included (white balance &gt; Neutral!)<\/p>\n<p>&#8211; Assign a generic V-Ray material to all objects (always!)<\/p>\n<p>-\u00c2\u00a0Create a V-Ray light<\/p>\n<p>&#8211; Load vray-TEST and start testing your scene<\/p>\n<p>&#8211; Find the right lighting balancing &#8220;multiplier&#8221; (Light) and &#8220;Shutter Speed&#8221; (Camera)<\/p>\n<p>&#8211; Create warm and cold lighs, try strong and diffuse shadows<\/p>\n<p>&#8211; Before to hit the final render remember to unflag &#8220;store with irradiance map&#8221; for perfect shadows!<\/p>\n<p>&#8211; Load vray-FINAL preset and hit render<\/p>\n<p>&#8211; Check &#8220;FINAL&#8221; version: you&#8217;ll find 4 lights as\u00c2\u00a0example.<br \/>\n<span style=\"color: #ff0000;\">Don&#8217;t turn on all lights togheter<\/span>: Just try them one by one<\/p>\n<p>*<\/p>\n<p>*<\/p>\n<p><strong>QUESTIONS<\/strong> :<\/p>\n<p><strong>I put a white light but the scene results reddish.
